Unidentified gunmen launched an attack on a family home in Binduri in the Upper East Region on Sunday, October 26, killing three people and injuring two others.
The victims included two children and three adults, with the children and one adult confirmed dead.
Eyewitnesses reported that the incident occurred late in the evening, plunging the community into grief and fear.
One of the injured victims has been identified as George Bukari, manager of Binduri-based Maxx Empire Radio and TV. He and another injured person were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Local sources suspect the attack may be linked to renewed tensions stemming from the long-standing Bawku conflict, which flared up again earlier this year.
