Dr. Bryan Acheampong has concluded a regional tour across all constituencies in the Eastern Region, delivering a message aimed at both delegates and grassroots supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP): leadership should work for the many, not the few.
Addressing party members with firm conviction, Acheampong emphasized that “power is not a prize to be won, but a duty to serve.” He called for policies and governance efforts that empower communities, create jobs, uplift farmers, and improve lives at the local level.
“The strength of our party lies with the men and women who wake up each day to mobilize, sacrifice, and carry our message of hope across every village and town. That’s who I stand for,” Acheampong affirmed to applause.
During his tour, he highlighted actions from his track record: securing better pricing for cocoa farmers, expanding irrigation systems, and reducing Ghana’s reliance on costly cocoa syndication loans. He positioned these achievements as evidence that leadership anchored in results and empathy is possible.
Acheampong also emphasized party unity, warning against internal divisions, stating, “A divided party cannot carry the people’s mandate. Together, we can win 2028 and govern with purpose.”

Observers say this tone of inclusion and performance has resonated well across the region. Supporters believe he embodies a younger generation of leadership—one focused on accountability, transparency, and grassroots empowerment.
As Ghana’s political climate evolves toward the 2028 elections, Acheampong’s message may help him differentiate himself in an increasingly competitive field of aspirants.
