The Ga people of Greater Accra celebrated this year’s Homowo Festival with colorful traditional drumming, dancing, and feasting. Chiefs, elders, and residents gathered in various communities to mark the harvest festival, which signifies “hooting at hunger.”
Tourists from across the world joined the festivities, adding to the cultural vibrancy. The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) praised the event, noting its importance in preserving Ghana’s cultural identity.
