MALE UNDERARM SWEAT CAN LITERALLY REGULATE A WOMAN’S HORMONES AND MENSTRUAL CYCLE AND EVEN IMPROVE HER MOOD

A study has revealed that the pheromones in male underarm sweat can literally regulate a woman’s hormones, menstrual cycles and improve her mood.

The pheromones in the sweat affect the release of luteinizing hormone (LH), which is crucial for ovulation and the regulation of the menstrual cycle.

These same pheromones have also been shown to affect the levels of certain hormones in women, including cortisol, a stress hormone, helping to actually regulate these hormone levels.

Additionally, studies show that male sweat, particularly the androstenedione present in underarm sweat, can lead to a brighter mood and increased relaxation in women. This is thought to be due to the pheromones acting on the brain’s hypothalamus, which plays a role in regulating mood and emotions.

The pheromones in the male sweat also influence the hypothalamus in the brain, which then affects the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), a hormone that positively influences LH (as described above).
