Accra has welcomed a brand-new startup innovation hub, dubbed “Innovate Ghana,” aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs with workspace, mentorship, and access to funding. The initiative is a collaboration between private investors, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and international partners.

The hub is expected to house over 100 startups within its first year, providing resources for technology-driven businesses in sectors such as fintech, agriculture, and e-commerce.
Speaking at the launch, Minister of Trade, Kobina Tahir Hammond, emphasized the government’s commitment to fostering innovation: “Startups are the future of our economy. This hub is not just a building, it is a springboard for the next generation of Ghanaian innovators.”
