A building at the premises of the Architectural Engineering Group at Roman Ridge in Accra has collapsed on Tuesday, October 28 with people trapped inside.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Tuesday. The statement said rescue team from the GNFS have moved to the scene and have since been working tirelessly to rescue those trapped beneath the rubble.
The GNFS is yet to confirm the exact number of persons trapped under the rubble.
According to GNFS officials, rescue efforts are ongoing, with emergency teams deployed to handle the situation.

Authorities have cordoned off the area as part of safety measures, while an investigation is expected to be launched to determine the cause of the collapse.
