President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Paris, France, to participate in the 8th Edition of the Paris Peace Forum, scheduled for October 29 and October 30, 2025.
A statement released by the Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, announced that from Paris, the President will proceed to Cairo, Egypt, at the invitation of the Egyptian President, to attend the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
The President is scheduled to return to Ghana on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
During his absence, Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang will assume presidential responsibilities in line with Article 68 of the Constitution.
